On Day EIGHT, the rain came down and Melbourne was looking at its best. This is a city that looks good when the day is damp and misty. But it does present problems for photography -- bag in one hand, brolly in the other and camera in your teeth.

Each of these pictures is a multi-exposure composite processed in Oloneo HDR Engine.

The Olympus E-P5 has a bracketing function that takes up to seven images at 0.3 or 0.7EV intervals. White balance and ISO speed can also be bracketed. There is a five exposure, 0.3EV interval dedicated HDR set.

These photos are seven image sets at 0.7EV intervals, hand-held. From the seven I selected four that cover the dynamic range with detail preserved in highlights and shadows.

The images are merged and tone mapped in OLONEO HDR ENGINE, my HDR processing software of choice, but only available for Windows at the moment.
